VANGUARD

 

In the world of finance, Vanguard is the only company actually owned by its clients. This makes it a very different kind of company. They bring coffee mugs to work so as not to waste money on styrofoam cups. They print on both sides of their paper. To say their approach to ad spending is “conservative” is an understatement to be sure. To them, if it couldn’t be measured and accounted for it really shouldn’t exist. That said, it was a pleasure to work for a company like Vanguard, filled with the kind of people that make you proud to call yourself a “human being.”
